Worship Team Application

Thank you for your interest in serving on the worship team here at Cornerstone Church. We worship the Lord because He is worthy; He has "called you out of darkness into His marvelous light" (1 Peter 2:9). Music is simply an avenue in which we get to humbly submit all we are to all of who He is in reverence and awe; in pure devotion and adoration. Getting to lead and facilitate that as worshippers and worship leaders for the church body is a privilege that comes with big responsibility.

Being in ministry means you are called to leadership, and being in worship ministry means you are called to upfront ministry. Being a part of upfront ministry means that, biblically, you are held to a higher standard (Luke 12:48). Your conduct should reflect that on and off the stage (Galatians 5:25; Ephesians 4:29; 1 Peter 1:15). As believers, we are to reflect the holiness and love of Christ, living lives that are worthy of the calling with which we have been called (Ephesians 4:1).

Being a part of ministry is something one must really be called to. It is important that you are serious about your walk with the Lord and that living a life of holiness is your aim; to please Him. If you believe the Lord is calling you to serve in ministry and you recognize the responsibility of being His representative, then we would like to invite you to complete the worship ministry application prayerfully. It is expected that you consider Cornerstone Church your home church and that you attend on a consistent basis. We are grateful for your interest in serving on our team. *We require anyone interested in applying to serve in the worship ministry to have been attending Cornerstone Church for at least 6 months consistently.
