Sermons and notes
Today we learn about the Beast and the Antichrist who make war on the saints during the last half of the tribulation. Amid intense persecution, there is a call for the saints to endure and stay faithful. In reflection of that, what can we learn about standing our ground as a believer and remain faithful to God in what we go through in our lives?
Jesus is coming back. When that happens, war is going to break out and both heaven and earth. What we are going to cover today is a synopsis of that, a summary of events that are happening and a behind the scenes look at the last 3 1/2 years of the tribulation.
The revelation of Jesus continues as we learn more details of what’s happening and will happen in the tribulation, but as we see John being told to communicate what God tells him, where do we stand in declaring what God has commanded us to? Are we swollen on the gains of Scripture and weak on the declaration of it to others? How can speak more of God’s wonderful plan of redemption to those around us?
The hardening of our hearts towards God is something every believer tries to avoid. At times, we find ourselves distanced from God, and even perhaps jaded in some ways. What’s the separation between us and God? Most likely, it’s a sin of some kind. Big or tiny, sin is what ultimately separates us from God and causes our heart to become hardened. As we look at people in the tribulation, there are some valuable lessons we can learn to have a soft hearts towards God and draw closer to Him.
In today’s world, we face many spiritual battles. In the tribulation, those spiritual battles will be torments that will cause people to want to die. As we learn more about the 5 th Trumpet and 1 st Woe, we will try to understand the enemy we face and how we can live victoriously, in spite of the spiritual battles we face.
The coming judgment on the world now takes a step further in the revealing of the 7 Trumpet Judgments. Do these judgments and redemptive plan of God affect only humans, or is there a more heavenly and cosmic judgment on the horizon as well?
God’s redemptive plan is at work during the tribulation. As we continue to witness the unsealing of the 7 seals, we come to a point where things on earth become more and more unbearable. As we take a look at seals 6 and 7, along with the sealing of the 144,000, we will see where God’s comfort is in the midst of pain.
As the tribulation begins to unfold we see the destruction of many terrible things. Many people will wonder where God is at in all that is going on. In our own lives, we can often wonder where God is. There will be a future tribulation of the world, but in the here and now, how can we find God in our personal tribulation?
Jesus is working all things for our good. Many of us know He is our salvation, but have we ever been told the why? Today we take a look into that quesiton for our answer and in the process come to realize that if He is going to redeem the entire earth, what I am going through matters to Him.
We were created for a life of worship. In Revelation 4 we get a glimpse of what heaven will be like and the worship of God that will take place. In the study verses today, we will draw back to instances in the Old Testament that God and His creation mirrored on earth what was and will be going on in heaven.
As we move from the church age in Revelation to the next scene, John is taken up to heaven in symbolism of the rapture that will occur. What is the rapture and what will it look like? Why is it important to us? We’ll answer these questions and an even more important one: How God is seeking to save those who are lost to be with Him in eternity?
How can we develop a more intimate relationship with Jesus? The church at Laodicea was far from God in their hearts. Rich in abundance and without need, they had allowed Jesus to become secondary in their life. Jesus presents them with a stern warning, yet gently invites them back to an intimate relationship with Him. Today we learn how we can do the same.
How do we, as a church, advance in what God has called us to do? That’s a big question that requires us to understand that God has given us all we need in Jesus to accomplish this. Today we look at the Church in Philadelphia and learn from what Jesus had to say to them and how it applies to us today.

Why are our works as believers important and how does false doctrine destroy those works? These are two key elements in our walk as believers that are rarely addressed. As we study the church at Thyatira we will see how our works as believers have an impact in this life, as well as eternity, and how we can avoid false doctrine from destroying our works.
Do sin and suffering relate to each other and how do we move from suffering to victory in this life? Today we look at the Church in Smyrna and the Church in Pergamum to see the issues they were dealing with in their time, along with the application on how to overcome those issues.
In Revelation 2 and 3 we see the 7 Churches being given a letter and report on how they are doing. The first church is Ephesus and we see many great things they are doing. However, Jesus has a warning for them and instructions on how to change. How do we see ourselves as a body of believers today in regards to this church and how can we avoid the traps of becoming stagnant in our walk with God?
Who is Jesus? The Book of Revelation sets out to answer that very question. Chapter 1 is fully of imagry and intrigue as Jesus is revealed like never before. Let's set out to get a revelation of the magnificence of Jesus and Who He is in heaven in His glorified body.
We begin our study in the Book of Revelation by introduction the background of this book including the reason for it's writing, along with the style, approach, and other aspects of how it connects the rest of the Bible together.
